PREORDER POLICY

Thank you for supporting the development of KUBO, our next-generation espresso machine. Preorders help us plan production, secure components, and deliver KUBO as efficiently as possible.
By placing a preorder, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Nature of a Preorder

A preorder is a payment made in advance for a product that is not yet ready to ship.

For KUBO, preorders allow us to plan and schedule production carefully. Each preorder helps us secure components, allocate manufacturing resources, and ensure that every unit meets our quality standards. Because of this, preorder rules differ from standard orders, including specific cancellation terms and processing timelines, to guarantee smooth production and delivery for all customers.

Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary depending on production speed, logistics, and component availability.


2. Payment Terms

All KUBO preorders must be paid in full at the time the preorder is placed.
Your payment confirms your reservation.

No units are reserved without full payment.


3. Cancellation Policy 

You may cancel your preorder at any time before your unit enters the processing/production stage.

However, all cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee, which covers:

  • Processing and payment fees

  • Administrative costs

  • Production forecasting and reservation of components

The remaining 90% of your payment will be refunded to your original payment method.

Once your order has entered the production or processing stage, cancellations are no longer possible.


4. Refund Eligibility After Production Begins

    Once your preorder is in production, it becomes final and non-refundable, except in the following cases upon delivery:

    • Your unit arrives damaged

    • You receive the wrong item

    • Items are missing from your shipment

    • A manufacturing defect is present upon arrival

    These situations follow the standard Refund Policy, including the requirement to notify us within 48 hours of delivery.


    5. Shipping Timeline

    Estimated delivery windows will be communicated during the preorder process and updated whenever new information is available.

    Please note:

    • Shipping dates are estimates, not guarantees

    • Delays may occur due to production, logistics, or global supply chain issues

    • We will notify customers as soon as any change occurs


    6. Updating Your Order

    Changes to your preorder (such as shipping address updates) are allowed as long as the order has not entered processing.

    If changes are required, email us at [email protected] as soon as possible.


    7. Return Policy After Delivery

    KUBO preorders follow a modified return policy due to the nature of preorder machines:

    • Voluntary returns (returns initiated by the customer) are allowed only if the machine is unopened and unused.

    • All voluntary returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

    • Used or opened machines are not returnable or refundable.

    • For shipment-related issues (damaged, incorrect, or missing items), you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, following the standard reporting rules.

    Full details are provided in our Refund Policy, but please note that the 10% restocking fee applies exclusively to KUBO preorder machines, making their return conditions different from standard products.


    8. Payment Clearance

    Refunds of any kind (including preorder cancellations) can only be issued once your original payment has fully cleared.
    Payments that are pending or on hold cannot be refunded until released by your payment provider.


    9. Communication Updates

    Preorder customers will receive updates via email, including:

    • Production progress

    • Estimated shipping timelines

    • Batch allocation notifications

    • Important changes or delays
