KUBO Production Update #3 – Hardware & Software Progress

In this update, we want to share where we currently stand across hardware, production, and software.

Overall, everything is progressing according to plan, with a small delay affecting the final PCB iteration. Some of the components are manufactured in the US, which led to unexpected delays and import-related issues. The good news is that the boards are now very close to arriving at our warehouse.

Production status

  • Machine chassis are ready.

  • Core components (boiler, thermoblock, pump, buttons, and tubing) are already prepared.

  • Assembly of the machines has already started.

Accessories are currently under production and will be shipped to our warehouse by the end of the month. Packaging is also ready, with only a few remaining labels for the cardboard manual and QR codes being finalized.

Once the final PCB iteration is confirmed and validated, the hardware side will be fully locked.

Software & firmware

In parallel, we’re preparing the KUBO firmware update system and updating the app to support both existing ONE users and new KUBO users. Alongside this, we’re implementing improvements and new features.

We’ll continue sharing real progress as production moves forward.
